Hide and Seek

Here Hildy is attempting to hide behind my Grandma Hillmer's crazy heirloom lamp. Tryng to hide there will only bring more attention to you, kid.

Sistas

After all the "Buster and Hildy" photos we've posted, we finally get one with just the ladies- Hildy and The Baby! Baby still hisses at Hildy most of the time, but right now they're getting along (and napping together as I write this!)
Here's a shot of that:

If these two girls can find peace, will Israel and Palestine be far behind?

Good Taste

Hildy's taste in music has much more in common with her daddy's than her mama's. She likes real rock 'n' roll, and is a big fan of these kitties here.
From all of us at Baby Brunhilda Blog, have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Stoned Soul Picnic

More pictures from the nip party. If you remember the nip party, you weren't really there...

Everybody Must Get Stoned

The kitties had a wild nip party this afternoon. They got their hands on some primo Colombian and got totally baked. Enjoy the psychedelic pix that follow, man...

Buster and Hildy-The Sit-Com

Hildy and Buster were just relaxing on the bed together when...

Hildy, who loves anything that moves around, started to become fascinated with Buster's tail...

She started to bite and attack it, something Buster would not tolerate...

So Buster used his greatest weapon, his girth, to stop Hildy's madness...

With Hildy incapacitated (temporarily), Buster could continue his lounging undisturbed. Just another day in a kitten-terrorized household!

Hildy on the mend

Our Hildy is doing much better these days. Her appetite has returned and she's back to being the little psycho we know and love. We did have to force feed her for a couple of days-literally put the cat food on our fingers and shove it into her mouth! Yesterday she started to take her own water and this morning she ate off of her plate without prompting from us. Thank goodness! We were scared for a while there.

Poor Hildy!

Hildy isn't feeling so well these days. She had to go to the vet yesterday because she accidentally got a hold of one of my pills and started to gnaw on it. The vet had to use all sorts of nasty stuff (like peroxide) to get whatever medication she may have ingested out of her system. She's o.k. now, but the peroxide made her nauseous and she lost her appetite. She was also completely drained and wasn't her normal, rambunctious self. Today she's been a little more energetic so we think she's on the mend. Oh, the perils of parenting. Turn your head for a second, and anything can happen!

End Table Hijinks

Our new table provides yet another jungle gym for the cats to play on and around. Hildy will chase Buster around until he climbs up onto this table, which Hildy can't yet reach by jumping. Paws fly, hisses sound, and craziness ensues.

Baby in Repose

Here's a rare picture of The Baby looking relaxed and comfortable. Normally I only see her tail end running away from me.

Toasty Warm

Buster loves to sleep on top of piles of clothes or towels fresh from the dryer. When Brett does it, however, it's considered "weird". Go figure.

Yum!

Buster and Hildy participate in their other favorite activity-eating! What the heck is that slop, anyway?

Crazy H

We just got a new mattress, and kept the old one in our dining room for a few days. Against our wishes, Hildy decided to climb to the top of the vertically-standing mattress. What on earth possessed her to do that?
GOOD NEWS- The Baby went back to the vet today to have an ultrasound on her heart. She has a heart murmur, and we feared the worst. The doctor said that everything is in great shape, and that she could live another ten years!

Shane and Hildy

This is our friend Shane with Hildy.

Rockin' Kitten

Hildy loves her daddy's guitar playing so much that she sat in his guitar case to prevent him from putting it away. Her favorite band? The Stray Cats, of course!

The Battle of the Bag

Once upon a time, Buster decided to chill inside this paper bag...

When Hildy saw this, she just had to taunt him...

She stuck out her tongue to see how he'd react...

She got right up in his face, a big mistake...

So Buster lashed back, as if to say, "I could eat you for lunch, you little snot!"

Finally, she acquiesced, and all was right with the world again.
(Until 10 minutes later, when Hildy started it all over again!)

THE END

Hildy-The Extended Version

In this picture, you can really see how long Hildy is getting. What happened to our little handful kitten?
